Some schools have little to no budget for classroom activities. At Exchange4 Creativity, we step in by distributing free art supplies directly to schools, teachers, and children in need. These supplies bring color, creativity, and joy into classrooms that might otherwise go without, helping students learn, express themselves, and thrive.
Decline in Credentialed Arts Educators A Think 360 Arts report (2025) observes a continued decline in the number of credentialed arts teachers in Colorado. Think 360 Arts Dramatic arts (theater) has seen steep declines: in fact, of Colorado’s 187 school districts, 164 districts had no certified dramatic arts teachers. That’s nearly 90% of districts without a theater teacher. KUNC Some districts are reducing staffing or cutting arts programs entirely, especially in disciplines seen as less “core.” KUNC These reductions imply weaker capacity for schools to provide quality arts experiences, especially in under-resourced districts.

Our donors often receive a substantial Federal income tax deduction worth up to two times the cost of your donation. Freight charges to ship your donation to Exchange4 Creativity may also be tax deductible. For regular C corporations, your deduction is equal to the cost of the inventory donated, plus half the difference between the cost and fair market-selling price, not to exceed twice the cost

We will provide you with a Tax letter and IRS Tax Exempt status letter from Exchange4 Creativity. Exchange4 Creativity keeps detailed records of merchandise donations and redistribution, so when tax time rolls around, you will know exactly who received your products and how much. We will ensure that your products are in the hands of those who need them the most. As soon as you contact us, you can clear out your excess inventory immediately. You do not have to hold it or manage any distribution, once you have shipped it to Exchange4 Creativity.

At Exchange4 Creativity, we respect your concerns about privacy and want you to be confident that the information you provide will be secure. Following is a step-by-step process, explaining how the information that you provide will be used.
There are several areas on Exchange4 Creativity's website where information can be provided: Donation Form, Contact Us.. The only information that we are collecting is demographic information so that we can provide you with additional information regarding Exchange4 Creativity program.
After completing the template and submitting your request, the information is entered into Exchange4 Creativity database.
The demographic information you provide is entered into a proprietary database that can only be accessed by Exchange4 Creativity employees. To access the database the employee must use a unique login I.D. and the information will be used to generate letters and mailing envelopes to provide you with the additional information about Exchange4 Creativity that you have requested.
In addition, the software encryption mechanism is used to protect personal identifiable information that is collected by the organization.
Your record will be stored in our database for possible future mailings from Exchange4 Creativity, but you will only receive mailings from Exchange4 Creativity. We do not sell or give information to anyone. We also do not allow third party advertising on our website and we only have only one link available through our website, which is to Square so that donations can be collected.
